Keeping a relationship healthy, whether working, romantic or social, is a question of give and take, rather than take it or leave it. However, if despite your best efforts things go pear-shaped, you might be forgiven for giving up and taking up with someone else. Or taking up golf. In the case of a working relationship, you may have to take over the work, or the company or you may have to give in and leave it to the other person. Your patience may give out. If they say, “Give over!”, they mean you should stop. You might feel you were taken in by their charms at the start and if you’re really unhappy about the whole situation you may lose weight and your clothes will have to be taken in. Or you might feel vengeful and want to take them down. You may even start drinking too much, and eating take-outs, resulting in waking up in the mornings with a mouth like a wrestler’s jockstrap or a throat that feels like the floor of a budgie’s cage. But don’t worry. After a while, since time heals all ills, you’ll feel better, ready to take on new challenges. Your new relationship will take off and all will be well.
Till the next time!
I don’t mean will be well till the next time. Or maybe I do.😊
